Thompson Coburn attorneys included in Chambers’ 2019 High Net Worth guide

Thompson Coburn’s private client practice and three of its practitioners received recognition in this year’s Chambers High Net Worth guide (by Chambers & Partners).

Thompson Coburn was one of only three firms listed in Band 1 for Private Wealth Law — Missouri. One interviewee commented, "Our experience with Thompson Coburn has been consistently outstanding. Thompson Coburn's approach is very integrated and their attorneys have always displayed a high level of expertise."

Larry Katzenstein is listed in Private Wealth Law — Band 1 for Missouri and is also one of only 16 attorneys listed in Chambers’ top tiers for the Central Region of the USA, which consists of more than 25 states. Chamber’s noted Larry’s “deep experience on all matters related to estate planning” and highlighted his role in creating the Tiger Table actuarial software, which is used by professional advisers and the Internal Revenue Service. One interviewee noted, “He is a first-class lawyer and first-class human being."

Tom Corbett, listed in the guide for Missouri, advises clients on estate planning and administration matters, including those concerning tax and succession planning for closely held businesses. one source told Chambers. “He knows it all, he has an excellent intellect and personal touch that serves his clients well." Another source described him as “extraordinarily experienced, responsive, thoughtful and detailed” and claimed, “The world would be a better place if there were more attorneys like Thomas Corbett."

Jason Thein, who also appears on the guide’s Missouri list, advises multi-generational families on estate planning, tax matters, and all types of business issues, including succession planning. One source stated, “He is a solid lawyer, he is really liked and trusted by his clients and that goes a long way." Another commenter described him as “a capable technician, a hard worker and nice guy.”
