Updated trade compliance materials now available

The Thompson Coburn Trade Compliance Handbook and Checklists of Foreign Countries Subject to Sanctions are essential international commerce resources created by the firm’s International Trade attorneys. These documents have been updated in March 2016 and are now available.
The handbook provides an overview of international trade regulatory compliance issues and related terms. New definitions have been added, including “SSI List,” Trade Promotion Authority," and "Trans-Pacific Partnership." There's also a summary
of conflict minerals requirements."
The country chart outlines the countries that are subject to a variety of U.S.- and European Union-imposed restrictions affecting international trade, including sanctions on Venezuela, Russia, Crimea and Ukraine.
