Three Thompson Coburn litigators will lead an upcoming webinar for business training provider Lorman on “Lender Policies and Procedures for Subpoenas, Summons and Third-Party Demand Requests.” The webinar will take place Wednesday, August 23, from noon-1:30 pm CST.

In the program, led by Matt Guletz, Chris Hohn, and Maria Zschoche, attendees will receive an overview of national trends in demand requests, key state-by-state differences in lender responsibilities, and hear first-person accounts from professionals at some of the country's leading financial institutions about what has — and hasn't — worked for them in regard to demand requests.

Attendees will come away with a clearer picture of today's litigation environment and strategies for how they and their teams can better respond to all types of legal orders, and be able to:

  • Define subpoenas, summons, garnishments and third-party demand requests.
  • Discuss special considerations for demands.
  • Understand the importance of account documentation, signatures and call logs in the event of litigation.
  • Review strategies for how to be more proactive in handling demand requests.

Please note: We plan to offer this same webinar later in the year free of charge through our TCLE program.
