Tonya Oliver Rose, Shaun Broeker Selected for 2025-2026 Class of Leadership St. Louis

FOCUS St. Louis has announced that Thompson Coburn partners Tonya Oliver Rose and Shaun Broeker have been selected for the 50th Leadership St. Louis program (LSL), a nine-month initiative for leaders committed to enhancing the St. Louis region.

This year’s LSL class includes 60 participants representing area companies, schools and universities, nonprofits and government organizations. LSL is one of six leadership programs offered by FOCUS St. Louis to achieve its mission of educating and connecting leaders to collaborate toward a thriving St. Louis region. The LSL curriculum delves into issues including economic development, racial equity, education, criminal justice, health care, local government and more.

Tonya is a partner and co-chair of the firm’s Health Care practice. As part of LSL, Tonya will share her knowledge of the health care industry and foster connections with a diverse group of leaders from various sectors. Tonya also co-chairs the Program Committee for the Women’s Foundation of Greater Saint Louis and serves on the organization’s Scorecard Committee, responsible for publishing an annual survey on local businesses’ women-friendly workplace policies and practices.

Shaun is a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation practice, focusing on disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, fraud, and fiduciary duty in industries including finance, agriculture, real estate, and defense and aerospace. In addition, as an Army veteran and the founder of Welcome Home Missouri, Shaun leads a statewide initiative to relocate transitioning service members, veterans, and their families from across the country to Missouri. By building a talent pipeline, this effort connects a highly skilled workforce with careers across the state.

Leadership St. Louis is designed to challenge participants’ thinking, expose them to new ideas and perspectives, and promote discussion, reflection, and action.
