DATA PRIVACY POLICY AND TECHNOLOGY

We closely follow and participate in the data privacy policy debate. We have filed comments on behalf of business clients with the Federal Trade Commission, Commerce Department, Executive Office of the President, Office of Science and Technology Policy, Federal Communications Commission, and other agencies and departments regarding various data privacy issues and developments. We also closely monitor technological developments and studies in the data privacy area so that we can provide up-to-date knowledgeable advice with respect to evolving techniques of data collection, use and transfer. Our partners have published articles in national legal publications on these subjects.
